What’s The Best Oil For Face? Top 11 Face Oils, For All Skin Types

Face oils are critical to giving your skin a beautiful glow and maintain hydration and contribute to that fresh, healthy look.

And yet, as the market is saturated with face oils, it is hard to know who to trust.

This is an essential oils guide where I share the top 11 most beneficial oils for the face right now, for all skin types.

For Dry Skin

1. Now Solutions 100% Pure Sweet Almond Oil

This product contains almond oil, known to have excellent hydration properties if you have wrinkles.

Not only it helps with dry skin, but it also eases eczema and dermatitis.

The vitamin A in this oil gives your skin a zit-fighting, line-smoothing look we all need so much.

TIP:

If you’re struggling with dry skin, or if you’re after an extra boost for your skin complexion, mix this face oil with your favourite moisturizer to create a killer combo.

A few drops of this face oil will suffice, don’t exaggerate.

Finally, for extra hydration throughout the day, add a couple of drops to your foundation.

Just make sure you apply the oil before the foundation, not the other way around!

2. Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil

Coming in an easy-to-use bottle, Drunk Elephant is a luxury essential skin oil that’ll nurture your dry skin, day and night.

Packed with healthy fatty acids, this superb face oil will condition your skin, lock in moisture, and reduce irritation.

TIP:

While this is an excellent oil for skink repair, don’t use too much of it as it could make your face look a bit oily.

3. Acure The Essentials Marula Oil

Want an affordable oil alternative for glowing skin?

Acure The Essentials has you covered (no pun intended)!

Here is another excellent oil for face that can be applied during the day or night.

TIP:

A little goes a long way, so use between 3 and 6 drops.

This oil is a bit thicker than expected, so warm it a bit in your palms before applying it.

For Oily Skin

4. Now 100% Pure Grapeseed Oil

Now 100% is the most cost-effective oil for face right now for those with oily skin.

Infused with a grape seed essence that’s acting as a natural astringent, this product will protect and hydrate while mattifying your skin to perfection.

TIP:

Add a protective layer of oil over your moisturizer to keep water in and pesky cloggers out.

5. Majestic Pure Chilean Grapeseed Oil

Just like Now 100% oil above, Majestic Pure Chilean offers similar results.

It is one of the best oils for skin, loved for keeping the oiliness at bay while preventing any likely pore blocking and clogging.

TIP:

When choosing a grape seed-based oil for face, make sure the product contains serum or essence (like this one) to reduce unnecessary grease.

Moreover, I use this oil for my skin whitening regimen with great success.

6. Teddie Organics Organic Jojoba Oil

This face oil from Teddie Organics brings you all the goodness of the jojoba plant.

The oil is incredibly lightweight and breathable, making it comfortable for your skin for long hours while controlling the shine.

TIP:

Most Jojoba oils are high in vitamin E and linoleic acid.

Easily absorbed, you can use it to nourish your lips while avoiding that greasy feeling that comes with dedicated products.

For Sensitive Skin

7. Piping Rock Natural Aloe Vera Oil

Piping Rock is one of the best essential oils out there.

Full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, this face oil is loved for its anti-aging properties.

Moreover, it is an excellent skin oil that will soothe and treat inflammation-related issues.

Paraben and sulfate-free, this natural face oil won’t irritate your skin.

TIP:

This face oil smells so lovely that you can use it for aromatherapy or can use it with an essential oil diffuser.

8. Dr. Adorable Aloe Vera Oil 100% Pure Organic

I love Dr. Adorable for its high concentration of aloe vera.

Aloe vera is excellent for sensitive skin that’s also oily or acne-prone.

However, if your skin is super sensitive, it might have a bad reaction to too much aloe vera.

Nevertheless, you can resolve the problem by diluting the oil with a bit of water.

TIP:

Patch test your oil first (preferably below your ear, near your jaw).

If your skin seems okay after 15 minutes, feel free to use the product.

For “Normal” Skin

9. Russell Organics Argan Oil

For those with normal skin, Russell Organics has the best argan oil there is.

Packing a generous dose of vitamin E, this face oil will prevent skin damage, dark spots, and fine lines.

Argan oil is known to help your skin by blocking UV rays naturally.

While argan oil is a go-to facial oil, not many of you know that the fatty acids it contains have a therapeutic effect on dry and damaged hair.

TIP:

I’ve found this oil to be excellent on hair and eyebrows.

I’ll work wonders on your eyelashes and brows, feeding hair as well as it nourishes your face skin.

In less than a week, your brows and eyelashes will have a gorgeous sheen.

10. Physicians Formula Argan Wear Argan Oil

Physicians Formula is somehow similar to Russell Organics.

It provides the same vitamin-E goodness, but at a lower price.

TIP:

A couple of lavender oil drops mixed into your Physicians’ Formula can bring down face skin puffiness.

Also, mixed with tea tree oil turns it into an excellent treatment for acne. Mix it up, but only a few drops!

For The “Acne-Prone”

11. Leven Rose Pomegranate Seed Oil

Finally, a distinctive pomegranate seed oil that’s both effective and affordable: the Leven Rose Pomegranate Seed Oil.

Naturally antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, this oil fights black spots and cares for affected skin.

TIP:

You do not need to encourage your skin to absorb this moisturizer facial oil by massaging it in.

In fact, it can have the opposite effect by drying too fast.

Let it sit on your face, and your skin will naturally absorb the product.

Clear Off

There you have the 11 best face oils for any skin type.

Knowing your jojoba from your almond is critical as all these oils have different combinations of vitamins, acids, and hydration power.

Also, keeping your oils with care will make them last longer and maintain their effect on your skin.
