Tremblepierre is a ready-to-wear sustainable fashion brand defined by rare artisanal elements. With a deep emphasises on the exclusivity and character of its unique designs, the label exudes French heritage and rich Japanese culture.
As a sustainable fashion brand, Tremblepierre is a fresh breath of tradition and innovation, opulence and hesitancy, refined and relaxed, strong and delicate, feminine and masculine, adorning both, the body and soul of the wearer. In designer’s own words:
“Tremblepierre is an armour of femininity. It is ritual and modernity. It is easygoing and luxury, laid-back and sophisticated, gentle and powerful, all at the same time.“
Born in Brittany, Olivia Berthelot, founder and designer at Tremblepierre, has a tremendous fashion heritage and expertise. A student in visual arts with over a decade in classical dance and Opera stage costume experience, Olivia has devoted herself to fashion.
Trained in Paris, the designer worked alongside many prestigious designers of haute couture, including Marine Serre – another French designer of sustainable fashion taking the world by storm.
But what makes Tremblepierre unique is the designer’s choice for sustainable materials infused with a fascinating Middle Eastern and European artistic blend.
Through an intentional choice for upcycled fabrics carefully selected by Olivia herself from French luxury houses such as Givenchy and Louis Vuitton, Tremblepierre showcases both, an exclusive and eco-responsible nature.
Then, the designer craftily infuses the materials with her love for Lebanon, and inspiration from Aloys Gouet and FrantiĊĦek Kupka’s paintings, to seductively reflect them in Tremblepierre’s statement-making creations.
While most of Tremblepierre’s collections are defined for women by the press, Olivia sees her creations, or at least certain pieces, as unisex:
“Tremblepierre’s unique creations are for men who want to be sophisticated and natural as well,” said Olivia Berthelot.
Recently declared a ‘Made in Paris’ label by the Mayor’s office in Paris, as a sustainable fashion label Tremblepierre takes a bold step towards the next era of conscious fashion with unique designs, limited-editions pieces, and capsule collections of unmatched ethical commitment and stylistic character.
