JeanneSousan is a sustainable ‘Couture’ label based in the Southwest of Germany. The label merges the lavish opulence in ‘EthnoStyles’ and the reduced, sculptural silhouettes of ‘Couture’. Two counter poles that balance each other in a particular way, resulting in what JeanneSousan calls ‘EthnoCouture‘.
“What I want to bring together is the opulence of ‘Ethno-Style’ with its subtle sensuality and, the reduced to essential elegance of ‘Couture’.“
It emerges out of a deep longing for sensuality in times when there is increasingly virtual /digital providing only, and decreasingly opportunity to experience things with all your senses – smell, touch, feel, wrap around.
Extraordinary fabrics, rich textures, complex embellishments, all crafted in the excellent artisanal techniques of ‘Haute Couture’ – all that creates an abundance of sensual experiences, an emotional value.

Every single item is then completely manufactured on demand, hand made, artisanal and with undivided attention, in our atelier. The special feature – it may be customised by details, chosen fabric and fitting options, so every piece is an absolute one-of-a-kind object.
JeanneSousan has a real Haute Couture approach that is incomparably luxurious – just like the model that comes from it.
“We have been looking for a space between the real Haute Couture, that only a few can afford, and prêt-à- porter. Manufacturing as a Couture Atelier we are in the position to offer exquisite creations to fill this gap.”
