So you want to know what are the top 15 sustainable lingerie brands right now?

Good, as the reality of the climate crisis has become a severe problem for all of us.

Yes, sustainability is gaining grown across industries, and in fashion too.

But, from all sustainable labels I know, only a few were doing lingerie as well.

Sustainable Lingerie Label? – Not Quite

So, I’ve decided to investigate 50 lingerie brands for their sustainability claims.

From those 50, only 15 made the cut, the truly sustainable ones you can buy right now.

Without further delay, here are the top 15 sustainable lingerie brands (in no particular order) right now:

1. Naja

I love Naja’s comprehensive selection made exclusively from eco-friendly materials.

‘Naja’ has products for all ages and great trendy styles.

Moreover, the founder seeks to actively empowers women and local craftsmanship.

2. People Tree

People Tree is all about taking care of people and trees.

Made from hypoallergenic, chemical-free, organic cotton, People Tree’s lingerie is the best if you have sensitive skin.

3. Parade

Love Parade for their unapologetically bright and colourful pieces.

The brand carries all underwear sizes, from XS to 3XL, so plenty for all of us.

Finally, I applaud Parade for their simple but sustainable and fully compostable packaging.

4. Savage X Fenty

Just like her makeup line, Rihanna’s lingerie collection is all about inclusion and diversity.

It includes products for all body sizes, of excellent quality, at very good prices.

And, to make things even better, Savage X Fenty is also 100 per cent vegan.

5. Thinx

This sustainable lingerie brand is perfect for women with difficult periods.

Personally, I’ve found Thinx to be an excellent choice during the period as well.

Their period-proof underwears are made from highly absorbent organic cotton so you can rest assured you’re always in good hands.

Moreover, the brand ensures that all cotton is sustainably sourced and ethically manufactured.

6. Knickey

“Hypoallergenic, organic, inclusive and recyclable”.

These are three words I use to describe Knickey, a great sustainable lingerie label.

The brand offers beautiful breathable thongs, hipsters, bikinis and briefs in all sizes, from XS to XL.

7. CUUP

If you’re looking for supportive bras, I highly recommend you CUUP.

Apart from monitoring its environmental impact, the brand works to recycle materials and offers unlined bras for larger cup sizes.

And, don’t let the words “recycle materials” put you off.

Their products are of excellent quality and style.

8. Azura Bay

Here’s another stylish lingerie brand I like a lot.

To start with, Azura Bay is made from eco-friendly materials.

Then, the products are always sent in recyclable boxes.

But above all, the company allows buyers to donate to charitable organisations – via each purchase.

9. Brook There

I like ‘Brook There’ for their sustainable undies that make me look fashionable and comfortable at the same time.

Their products are friendly to the environment and super pleasurable on the skin.

10. Warp + Weft

I’ve selected Warp + Weft as part of my top 15 sustainable lingerie brands for their choice of sustainable materials.

The brand’s absorbent material is excellent.

Moreover, the brand always looks for solutions to cut down on emissions and prioritise fair working conditions.

11. Boody

Made with viscose from organic bamboo, Boody’s products are some of the most affordable and sustainable undergarments.

From all brands on this list, I’ve found Boody to have the most comfortable products, suitable for everyday use.

12. Pact

This brand goes to great lengths to ensure that its entire supply chain is clean and responsible.

I’ve had the chance to visit their factory and was well impressed to see what Pact does.

From making 100 per cent organic cotton underwear to the care it shows its people, this is a brand you want to support and wear.

13. WAMA

From all sustainable lingerie brands on my list, WAMA is the experts in hemp pants.

The brand’s choice for hemp is justified by the fact that hemp requires 50 per cent lesser water to grow.

I’ve found the hemp lingerie line made by WAMA to be breathable, comfortable, and mould-resistant.

14. Organic Basics

If nothing on my list has convinced you to shift to sustainable lingerie labels, I bet that Organic Basics will do.

The reason I’ve never give up on SilverTech is their know-how in antibacterial and heat regulating underwear.

Whenever I want safety, I go to this brand, again and again.

15. Reformation

True to its name, Reformation is all about transforming sexy and sheer lace bralettes into sustainable and eco-friendly underwear.

I used to shop from Reformation a lot, I still do.

But now, thanks to the new sustainable lingerie brands I’ve discovered and tried on, many things will change.

For better, that’s for sure, for me and the planet.
