Great Green Wall Project. Timberland is one of the latest fashion brands to show further commitment to a greener future. The outdoor lifestyle brand has pledged to plant 26,000 trees in Ghana over the next five years.

Citing the benefits of tree growth in terms of cooling, air purification, and water retention, Timberland’s initiative aims to mitigate the effects of climate change by reducing droughts and removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Ghana is the brand’s latest addition and critical component of the Great Green Wall Project, an 8km long natural barrier, stretching across the African continent.
