Throughout the last Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week events, taking place in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia an emerging breed of fashion designers are blurring the lines between gender by breaking away from every known stereotype, focusing on developing own, unique and original styles.
However, a conservative country with aged values, Georgia’s homophobia is widespread on its streets. And yet, defying gender with creations that reach beyond the binary construct of men and women, a new breed of fashion designers is emerging, and their vibrant, gender-neutral mesmerising offerings.
