Beyonce And Jay-Z vegan challenge. Jay-Z is globally known for his music and his beautiful wife, the American singer musician Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. The couple is also notorious for their smart investments in real estate, art, and technology companies.
A clear testament that their investments are spot on is the recent award that saw the American rapper crowned as the world’s first hip-hop billionaire.
But, Jay-Z’s most attractive investments to date are in vegan foods. The most recent venture is Impossible Foods, a company that makes plant-based ‘meat’.

Impossible Foods is known for its burgers that look, cook, and taste like traditional beef but are made without any animal products.
Another company that has Jay-Z as an investor, alongside Larry Marcus and Jay Brown is Partake Foods.
In a funding round led by Marcy Venture Partners, a venture capital firm funded by, again, the everpresent Jay-Z, the Vegan cookie brand received a $1 million investment.
Partake Foods was founded in 2016 by Denise Woodward, a former Coca-Cola executive, after her daughter, who adores cookies, was diagnosed with numerous food allergies.
Ever since, Partake Foods produces only allergen-free vegan cookies, from cinnamon, carrot, and ginger.
“For a while, after leaving Coca-Cola in 2017, I used to sell cookies out of my car, demoing every day to store managers and customers. Now we have products in over 300 stores, and thanks to this new investment and wealth of knowledge in brand building and scaling consumer companies we project 1,000 stores by the end of the year,” said Woodward in a recent interview.
However, For Beyonce And Jay-Z, vegan food isn’t the only space for future investments.
To the couple, the vegan scene is developing fast, and their next stop is the fashion industry.
“The benefits of plant-based foods for humans and the environment are profound. The available information is now impossible to ignore. The next step for us is to challenge the world to move towards a cruelty-free lifestyle. Stand up, not just for your health, but also for the health of animals and the planet,” said the couple in a joint statement.
